Does the NBA own a blimp or helicopter that pans a city and it's basketball arena?
Do you notice that at halftime and timeouts during NBA games they an arial view of the stadium. Does the NBA own a blimp or helicopter that pans the city and arena?|||Those shots are taken from a blimp... usually the Goodyear blimp, though other companies like Met Life also have blimps. Goodyear sends their blimps to major sporting events because it's good publicity... everybody notices and points to that big blimp floating in the sky. Goodyear lets the broadcast company put a camera on the blimp, and in return sometime during the game they'll show a panoramic view and the announcer will say something like "There's the panoramic Phoenix skyline, courtesy of the Goodyear blimp."|||not the NBA, TNT and ESPN pay a local helicopter to do it.|||Nah, it's usually the goodyear blimb or something like that. The broadcasters just contract it out.
How do you get good at nba 2k9 quickly if you are new to nba 2k basketball video games?
i have never played any nba 2k basketball video games, so the controls are different from nba live. i also hate the fact the i always lose because every jump shot i shoot pretty much misses and everything the computer shoots goes in. So how do i get good at nba 2k9 fast? because i am losing a lot of games in the association mode.|||play alot and practise a lot|||u can change the controls u want to use in the options

How can I put Penny Hardaway and Jason Williams back in NBA 2K9 without resetting the roster?
They used to be in the game but now I can't find them. Ever since I used Xbox Live to make the changes that was recently happening in the NBA, I couldn't find them anymore. There not even in the free agents list. But I don't want to get them back by restting the roster because I want the rosters to stay the same. I just want Penny Hardaway and Jason Williams back. How can I get them back without resetting the roster?|||Create them. Make one injury prone and the other with a passer's rating of 55. Everybody gone' cry about it?
What is the Chinese government thinking for the NBA?
As a Bucks fan, I've been watching the whole situation with Yi Jianlian. Today really ticked me off, though. Apparently, Yao Ming was reprimanded because he was late for practice for the Chinese national team. His reason was because he was planning for his wedding and helping out with special olympics activities.
This is just ridiculous. Yi's reputation is getting worse each day that he doesn't join the Bucks. Now, Yao is told that he can't be a good human being. China is willing to destroy people's reputations as long as their national team does well. That's all they care about.
The Bucks need to hold strong right now. If China wants experience for Yi in the NBA, he'll have to get it with the Bucks or not get it at all. I'm starting to feel bad for Yi because it seems like he doesn't have a say in what happens. He may never get a chance in the NBA just because of his government. He does have options, but they're pretty drastic.
What does everyone else think?|||who cares?|||China has a selfish government. it sucks living there if you are a chinese.|||theyre a communist country. what else would you expect from them really?|||i agree with u that Yi doesn't seem to have ant power in the situation i think that his agent and perhaps people connected with the Chinese national team feel that bucks aren't the right situation for him because it isn't a big enough market and it isn't enough of an Asian market for them to relay capitalize on merchandising. i feel bad for the bucks because i dont think they realized the situation they were getting into when they drafted him its ironic because so many players have their character put into question which makes their draft value fall but nobody relay anticipated this being a big issue for the team that drafted

Then in each conference, a tournament is held, where the matchups are #1 vs #8, #2 vs #7, #3 vs #6, and #4 vs #5. The winning team advances to the next round, and the losing team is eliminated.
The winners of the #1 vs #8 and #4 vs #5 play each other in the next round, and the winners of the #2 vs #7 and #3 vs #4 play each other in the next round.
Then the winners of those two games play each other in the Conference Finals.
Now remember that this happens in two conferences, so the winners of the two Conference Final games are declared their conference champions, then they play each other for the title of NBA Champions (winner is declared NBA Champion).
And all teams play each other in a best 4-out-of-7 series. They play each other until one team wins 4 games (the winning team advances).

Could NBA players put together a 5 on 5 and sell it to pay per view during the NBA lockout?
Let's say Kobe, Lebron, D-Wade, Dwight Howard, and 6 other NBA players decided to make their own money during the lockout and signed with pay per view to put on a game for the fans. Would they have the right to do this, since the lockout is forcing them to be broke for a while. NBA drafting order is determined via lottery. There are 14 ping-pong balls and 4 balls are drawn. The team who owns the combination for the 4 balls drawn wins the top pick.|||If your pick is suppose to be ranged 8-12. Then your chance to get a 1st pick is very low. A 14th pick will always stay 14.
1-4 will decide who gets 1st 2nd 3rd 4th.

Why did Why did Tim Duncan get booed during the NBA All Star Weekend?
