NBA drafting order is determined via lottery. There are 14 ping-pong balls and 4 balls are drawn. The team who owns the combination for the 4 balls drawn wins the top pick.|||If your pick is suppose to be ranged 8-12. Then your chance to get a 1st pick is very low. A 14th pick will always stay 14.
1-4 will decide who gets 1st 2nd 3rd 4th.
It's basically Stern who decides the picks. Just like the one where they had 1st pick for Knicks|||It's fixed, why don't they just do like everyone else %26amp; give the 1st pick to the team with the worst record|||+ 1 for 1st pick.

Why did Why did Tim Duncan get booed during the NBA All Star Weekend?
When they were announcing the shooting stars' competitors, Tim Duncan received the biggest boos out of all the players. I haven't been keeping up with NBA all that much this season and was just wondering why?|||he is from the spurs
and the all star game was in phoenix.

Kobe got booed at the 2002 NBA All-Star game (which was in Philly) because the Lakers beat the 76ers in the Finals the year before.|||So many answers, yet all wrong. They booed him because of last year's game one playoff matchup where time duncan hit that three near the buzzer. Spurs ultimately won the game and many suns players/fans said if spurs didnt steal that game, suns would have advanced.|||Probably because earlier in the year the spurs sg roger mason shot the game winner vs the suns at home. Since the All Star game is in Pheonix Tim Duncan would obviously get booed.|||Phoenix Suns hate the Spurs because the Spurs always upset the Suns by beating them in very close games every time they play each other|||phoenix hates anyone on the spurs. its because what happened on Christmas when the spurs beat them by a buzzer beater. Robert Hoory hit it.|||My guess is because he is from the Spurs; they pulled an upset win in Phoenix by barely beating the Suns earlier this season. The fans must have been really pissed by how that game ended.|||It was in PHO and he is a boring player.
