Should the NBA start giving technical fouls for flopping?

I believe MLS soccer gives out yellow cards for pretending to be fouled, and I think it's gotten out of hand in the NBA. Should the NBA start penalizing this too?|||maybe. i'd be fine with it, especially because I am a Lakers fan and that would mean Fisher would be kicked out of the game in the first quarter of every game. haha.|||It depends on if he flops or gets ran over.|||YES!!!! please! i see 6'11 grown men falling down for hits a 6 year old wouldnt even think twice about. its just become outrageous.|||That would suck for the Spurs.|||! There sure would be a lot of ppl T-out! And early, too!|||What the HELL is Flopping (like changing teams)|||That would be absolutely stupid because most of the flops, arent flops if you actually watch the games|||I've been saying this for a long time and no one agrees with me. I'm glad to see that someone does. Flopping is ruining the game. Players like Varejao and Collison make their living off of flopping and it has to stop. I also hate when they call fouls on the defensive player when the offensive player created the contact. I realize that everyone does it, but if you got slapped with a foul it would die out. I really really hate flopping. With all my heart I hate flopping.|||A simpler solution would simply be for the NBA to let its referees know which players are known to be floppers. If you're a known flopper, you don't get a call unless the ref sees the foul. Doesn't matter if you're laying on the floor with your jaw shattered. If the ref didn't see the foul, you don't get the whistle.

After a flopper gets hit hard a couple of times and there's no whistle, he'll learn.
