You should only factor in those who 1) get notable playing time and 2) put up enough 3's to make a difference. With all that taken into account, Steve Nash and Peja Stojakovich are your guys.

Are NBA game officials fair especially during the playoffs?

I know this question is a little broad, however I'm just curious to hear some opinions from some NBA fans. Amidst the super-star power out there this playoff season are the officials still being fair or are they making horrible calls? Do they seem to give technical fouls out like candy? Should the league take action against bad calls from officials?|||The NBA needs to do something about the refs. I am a BB fan, not rooting for any one of the four teams, just really enjoy watching. Are NBA players smudging off their tattoos or is it just camera trick that I see on TV?

I've noticed recently when I watch NBA on tv, a lot of players have smudged off tattoos. At first when I saw it on one player I thought how stupid the player is for not sticking with his tattoo. But then I kept seeing more players with smudged-off tattoos. Wait a minute, that can't be right. So are tv networks censoring the tattoos by smudging them off?|||Let's hope the youth and the athletes are removing their tattooes and giving up their rock music. I have seen MJ does it also Shaq did couple of times. Darryl Dawkins is best known glass backboard breaker of all time because when he played they didn't have the break away rims and all the support they have in them now. Are NBA basketball tickets too expensive for most people to afford?

I was looking into buying some tickets for a pre-season game and the least expensive option was $60 which I cannot afford. I am wondering if this seems expensive to most others too. Is NBA only available to the rich?|||There is an NBA league rule that every team make at least 500 $10 tickets available for each game. Never the best seats, but definitely affordable. Contact the team box office (not ticketmaster) and ask if these tickets are still available. If available, they probably will refer you ticketmaster to purchase.|||I think that all pro sports have priced themselves out of the reach of most people. A lot of fans won't go to the games because they can't afford to take their families. For the typical 4 person family in your example, you're talking about $240 just for the tickets. You know you're going to spend another $60 on a few dogs, sodas and popcorn so now you're looking at $300. Parking is an additional cost and you'll probably have to buy a couple of souveniers for the kids so you're more than likely going to spend $400 in the 3 hours it takes to play the game.



I think most people would rather spend the $400 on something that the whole family can enjoy for more than 3 hours.



I think you can blame the players and the owners for the price of tickets. Everyone should have the right to make a good living but the owners could refuse to pay them that much. If the players didn't make so much money, the tickets would be affordable by everyone.|||$60 a ticket is probably about average depending on what city you live in. Is it only for the rich? I would say many people can afford to go to a game or two a season and they are not rich. Is it expensive? Absolutely. It is basically the law of supply and demand. If no one was willing to pay $60 and they were not selling out each game they would lower the ticket prices. The NBA is still setting attendance records year after year so I expect if anything the tickets will continue to rise in price.



You might go to the teams web site and see if they have any promotional nights. Some teams have lower prices for a couple games a year or on weekdays.



Personally I don't think NBA basketball is that great live unless you have courtside seats or very good seats. Those seats are typically very expensive...can be a 1000 plus. You are probably better off watching the game on TV or if you want to see live basketball catch a college game or good high school teams.|||Well, first off, it depends who paying to go see. Tickets for the Lakers are going to be more expensive than for the Raptors. Location does play a part in ticket pricing. Are they too expensive?


When you start getting to the lower sections, I would have to say that they are. Will that change? Not until they lower salaries to a more realistic amount, which don't bet on that happening anytime soon.|||its not just basketball. its all sports every team wants a new state of the art stadium and ticket prices are what helps pay for those investments. with the economy as bad as it has been the average person prob couldnt imagine taking a family of 4 to a game. ticket prices are out of hand everywhere. i havent been to an nba game in 11 0r 12 years and it was when the 76ers stadium was newer we had mid court llower upper level seats and they were 28 bucks each and that was 12 years ago i dont even want to think about what those seats cost now.|||That is not expensive for me. Whenever I go to NBA games I usually sit in the 1st or 2nd row, so I spend roughly $300 a ticket.|||This depends on the team who you're going to see play.

I'm talking about the NBA with Derrick Rose, not the WNBA that no one cares about.|||I'm a female high school basketball player and to say that no one cares about the WNBA is really rude. I look up to players like Tamika Catchings, Two time Olympic Gold Medalist and WNBA all star, because that's what I aspire to be. Just because you don't care for the WNBA, doesn't mean that you have to hate on them. I'm really not trying to be mean but comments like that really bother me.





An interesting story would be about a WNBA player who maybe aspires to play in the NBA. Imagine the NBA if a women played? How would the fans act? What would happen to the industry?
