Are NBA players smudging off their tattoos or is it just camera trick that I see on TV?

I've noticed recently when I watch NBA on tv, a lot of players have smudged off tattoos. At first when I saw it on one player I thought how stupid the player is for not sticking with his tattoo. But then I kept seeing more players with smudged-off tattoos. Wait a minute, that can't be right. So are tv networks censoring the tattoos by smudging them off?|||Let's hope the youth and the athletes are removing their tattooes and giving up their rock music. They are showing a dangerous example to impressionable youth. Tattooes frequently cause blood poisoning. You will have to type in to a search engine.
