Will the NBA eliminate some losing teams in order to stabilize the profit margin?

To create a level playing field or court, the NBA may cut salaries by 30% and eliminate some losing teams. Will the Los Angeles Clippers be eliminated? What will happen if we have a lock-out in the NBA?

Can they really do it? Do you have a team that may be eliminated?|||none of that will ever happen..|||Actually it's not losing teams it's teams with low profit or profit that fluctuates too much.

The clippers are not in danger as they have taken on a kind of 'lovable loser' image and still turn a good profit along with being in LA.

Yes they really can do a lockout, if it happens there will be no games until it is resolved.

Toronto is a lower income team (lot of competition for $ in that city) and has been considered to be cut in the past.|||You people have a short memory. Bud Selig back in early 2000's said they would eliminate Twins and Expos. It was all BS to use in negotiating a new player agreement as Stern is doing here.

Telling Stern his services are no longer required would solve the problem.|||Players have to take a cut.

Owners have to quit whining too. They are the ones that gave ridiculous contracts.|||There going to eliminate teams that arent making alot of money, which kinda sucks. It seems like all the top sport Leagues are going broke.|||I hate david stern for Seattle and now this!I feel like saying censored words in this right now.|||which kinda sucks
