who would win in a 7game series the lakers or the boston why im a laker fan and think ron will shut down pierce and kobe will have his way and if bynum is healthy with he will get alot of rest from now to the final the boston will have a problem|||Boston matches up well up front with the Lakers. KG, Perkins, and Wallace would make the series very hard for Bynum, Pau, and Odom on both ends of the court.





Allen and Pierce vs Kobe and Artest is pretty close to a wash. Rondo vs. Fisher is one of the biggest mismatches you will ever see in a playoffs. So, I'd give the edge in the backcourt to Boston, too.





Really they match up just as poorly now as they did in '08. Rondo's improved play should at least make up for any drop in production Pierce experiences. Boston in 6 (Assuming both Boston and the Lakers advance).|||i'm thinking lakers in 6.|||Its hard to tell but i agree that kobe will do pretty well but Pierce is pretty darn good so im guessing that IF, IF the lakers get into the finals then it'll be a close game. and I can honestly say i'm not a fan of Celtics or Lakers but i think it'll go over time or be really close in game 6 to end it.|||If it is at home in Game 7 at Staples, Lakers have the edge due to crowd getting involved and the bench will even play well.|||It will be a great series in general. But in a 7 game series, its gonna be the Lakers. Kobe is the most determined man in the playoffs and hes just warming up. The Celtics are playing really good right now, but its all because of Rondo. Artest is gonna have his way on defense with Pierce and Kobe will be on Rondo instead of Allen. They will have to be looking inside, which is where the Lakers shine. The length is something that gives them the upper hand. KG is struggling shooting on most nights and Perkins cant score by himself. The big 3 themselves aren't enough to stop Kobe Bryant. Also, the Lakers have home court advantage this year, unlike in 2008 when the Celtics did. The Celtics just cant out play the Lakers in 7 games. As long as the X-Factor Lamar Odom gets 10 and 10,Pau gets his 20 and 10, and Kobe does what he does, the Lakers will not lose. 5 games, Lakers win at Staples.|||I am a Lakers fan too and the game between Lakers and the Phoenix Suns will be an easy sweep. But Lakers against Boston will be quite a difficult game. To tell you honestly, I don't know who will win between the two.Being practical, Boston has very great team players. But I would definitely support Lakers on this until the end. LoL.





I just hope history is not repeating itself... =(|||Both teams are playing at a ridiculously high level right now, so I think the nba finals will be a great series. That being said, I believe the Lakers best %26gt;%26gt; Celtics best because of the Lakers size and athleticism, and obviously Kobe Bryant. Nobody on Boston can stop Kobe Bryant, they can only hope to keep him contained. The Celtics can't take a night off if they even hope to stand a chance vs the Lakers.





Rajon Rondo is playing like the absolute best point guard in the nba during these playoffs. He is there best hope, but the Lakers take it in 5.
