I put the disc in my PC's dvd drive and I was able to see the folders and stuff, so is one of them designed specifically for the rosters? You can put it on a USB device and then put it in the PS2 and upload it to the memory card I guess. If you find it they will tell you how you do it.
I always did the roster updates myself on the PS2.
