I'd like to have the list of prefered hotels for each NBA city.
Also, if you know where to find facts and anectdotes about life as an NBA player, gossips, etc. I would be really interested to find out where.
Thank you!|||If you buy a NBA teams catalog ) its normally about 100+ pages) it usually list where that pro team stays during road trips in the season. I know the Oakland A's have one and it list all MLB teams preferecne for home and away for visiting teams. For instance the Oakland A's are here in Seattle this weekend for a three game series and they are staying at the Olympic Hotel %26amp; Spa. Most popular teams wish not to list their location for the fear of large crowds.|||Quit jock-sniffing.
The athletes are at the hotel to take it easy and sleep, not so you can hound them for autographs or try to catch a glimpse of them with some gorupie.|||Join the NBA|||If you have season tickets, just hound them at the arena... the players would probably be much more willing to sign there than if you stalked them down at their hotel.
Take my word for it...the hotels the players stay in are very nice. You don't need to visit them there to verify this fact.
It really is not the job of players to give autographs and interact with fans...that falls under the 'optional' part of the job. Their job is actually to give their best efforts at all times on the field (or court).
That's the only thing that they 'owe' the fans.
Plus, the only reason you want autographs is because you think it'll be worth something down the road... why should players let other people trade on their name?
Players aren't always crazy about being approached by strangers at their hotel. Unless of course, it's a good looking chick that's approaching them! :-)|||this website was featured on HBO real sprots as women who
" follow the nba, nfl " the girls who use this page if im being blunt are Kanye West wrote a song about...|||It's not a players job to be giving autographs out. That's not what they do. They go to the arena, suit up, and play ball.
But the thing is, being in the profesional spotlight, it's something they should do, but don't have to do. When you sign that contract, there is no mention of them saying you must sit at at a table and sign autographs.
It seems to me, you want to join somebodys posse. It seems as if you are willing to be a member of anybodys posse. That might even mean the 12th man, the last guy off the bench posse member. You're a lackey.
Anyway, in New York, I think most teams stay at the Ritz Calrton. Not sure if they stay at Battery Park, or Central Park Ritz Carlton.
In Houston, when the Rockets played at the Summit/Compaq center, the visiting team usually stayed at the Ritz Carlton/St Regis Hotel in Post Oak. Now with the Toyota Center, they may stay somewhere else. I'm not really sure, but don't really care.|||You don't. You don't know for a reason. They don't want you stalking them.
