Nba.............?

do nba general managers draft players based on how exciting they are to watch, or the ability to win champiosnhips but not that exciting to watch|||NBA general Mgrs. draft players, who fit their needs. All of them (We hope?) want to win a championship.

San Antonio wins with players, who are not flashy. They are fundamentally sound. Talented and coach-able. They might not be the most exciting team to watch, but they are contenders every year.

Phoenix wins with a high scoring, high flying run and gun style. Their players are exciting to watch, but are also coach-able winners.

Lets face it, teams that win get higher attendance and are more exciting to watch than losing teams.

There are many things that keep teams losing like the salary cap, bad draft picks, bad trades.|||What the hell is champiosnhips? Is that a new type of chip or just someone with really large hips? I wonder...|||Different GMs have different priorities. Some want to make profit by selling tickets and merchandise, others want to make a winning team. The smartest way to be would be to create a winning team because that way you people would obviously buy tickets and that would create profit as well.

I'm not sure why some GMs are stupid. It just seems to be a fact of sports.|||Hopefully the second, but keep in mind that every year 31 out of 32 teams don't win the championship.

Exciting players are typically blessed with excellent athletic abilities, which make them great players, but sometimes more complacent than someone who has to work to get better.
