How can I put Penny Hardaway and Jason Williams back in NBA 2K9 without resetting the roster?

They used to be in the game but now I can't find them. Ever since I used Xbox Live to make the changes that was recently happening in the NBA, I couldn't find them anymore. There not even in the free agents list. But I don't want to get them back by restting the roster because I want the rosters to stay the same. I just want Penny Hardaway and Jason Williams back. How can I get them back without resetting the roster?|||that would be hard as the xbox has already updated the rosters...
