I thought the NBA was the most profitable of the sports leagues?|||The Players make 58% and the Owners make 42% of the total income! The Owners are looking to change that by reducing salary's by 25% and installing a hard cap!Much like the NHL did,It took the NHL players 1 full season before they caved in on the owners demands! The NBA owners will lock the players out until they get what they want!

The NBA is not the most profitable,It doesn't get the big TV deals the NFL and MLB does!|||The NFL is the most profitable sports league. The NBA is losing money because many of the owners are fools and throw away huge sums of money to mediocre players. For example, the Hawks gave Joe Johnson a max-out 7 year deal this offseason, so they'll be paying him $125 million through 2016. Johnson is a decent player, but there's no way he's worth that kind of money.

Since the owners can't seem to stop themselves from making those sort of stupid deals, they want some salary cap concessions from the players so that the owners are forced to be more fiscally responsible.|||Everyone wants a high salary.|||coz of those overpriced players and those who colluded with just anybody just to win a ring|||Golf and baseball are
