How would you assess the overall financial health of the NBA? What are good and bad signs, if any, for the future?|||I like the NBA League Pass strategy. For $99 a season, an average fan can enjoy the entire season of basketball of every team in the league. Also, it is like free money to NBA and teams since the games are being broadcasted in their local areas anyway.|||Its hard to assess and compare them to any other league when the NFL makes more money than all the other professional sports in the US put together.
I have never heard of the NBA being in trouble financially so its hard to answer this question correctly.|||overall i would say that it is doing just ok. attendance is down in a lot of cities and the tv ratings are not great. with so much competition they have managed to keep there heads above water unlike the nhl. they need lebron to be like mike and that could turn things around.
