What percentage of NBA 1st draft picks start on opening day?

I was just wondering. By the way I know opening day is for baseball but I don't know what the first game in NBA is so sorry. If there is a name I would really appreciate it. Thanks in advance.|||I don't know the exact numbers, but I'd say usually only 6-7 guys are starters. Some drafts have more than that (the great LeBron/Wade/Carmelo draft had more I know), but this year is a weak draft and I'd say only a few guys will be starters.

Now, some guys on the bench will still have fantasy value... 6th men and backup centers can be valuable if they give you the right stats. But I wouldn't expect a ton of instant starters this year... Irving, Williams and maybe Knight are the only guys who will be fantasy options from the opening tip.|||do you mean 1st round 1st pick? in which case it would be 95% with only the handful of scrubs like kwame brown not starting.....

the majority would though

If you mean 1st round picks but any pick between 1 and 30 it is usually around 12 of the first rounders are starters on their teams on opening night. Usually the early lottery picks who went to bad teams with no depth. The remainder went to solid teams and are somewhere between the 6th and 12th man for a season or 2 before starting
